Reflection Of Senior Year
My senior year is coming to an end. It's finally 2018 and the days are flying by. I never believed that my senior year would fly by until now. It has been a crazy and fun year, sometimes stressful but i'm glad it's coming to an end. Senior year has taught me a lot.
So many times I heard from senior last year or even adults, "your senior year will fly by and you won't even know it.", "do as much as you can because your senior year will be gone in a blink of an eye." I just always kind of ignored the fact that people told me that but now that it's real and i'm living in the moment, this year sure has flown by. Senior year taught me so much, one thing senior year taught me for sure is to participate and get involved as much as you can because once you're out of high school, you're out for good.
Grades are very important and I wish grades was something I would've focused a lot more on and I'm glad my senior year also taught me that. I'm a very bad procrastinator and this year I slacked so much because I thought I would be able to cram everything in last minute but it really doesn't work that way. When teachers say, "don't leave everything for the last minute", I wish I would've listened to them more. I'm so glad my senior year taught me not to procrastinate because I'll be able to remember how bad procrastinating made me stress in college.
Overall, I'm so thankful for all the memories and great lessons I was taught at Batesville High School. I'll definitely be using what I learned in advance. Everything that I have learned will help me in the future and will help me grow as a person.
